  Waffle House is great because it never changes, good or bad it's the quintessential "greasy spoon". I came upon this one at 3am near the Raleigh Durham Airport. There are no waffle houses within 50 miles of my home in NJ so of course I had to go. The waffle was great (it had better be, right?) I also got steak and eggs. The steak was garbage, the eggs were eggs. The food was fresh, the coffee was good for 3am coffee. The service at this Waffle House was great, southern hospitality at 3am, who knew. The staff were upbeat and chatty and smiled. Overall I felt welcome. Never change Waffle House.
